ABOUT JESS

Since graduating in 2004 with a BA in Advertising Photography from Brooks Institute for Photography, my work has brought me all over the world. I've been honored to photograph for top notch agencies and one-person shops; shot for global brands as well as mom and pops. The diversity and beauty of it all keeps me challenged and inspired every day. 

Collaborating with creative and positive people has been the joy and inspiration of my professional career. I believe the people you surround yourself with define the type of person you become and the happiness you have in your life. I’m incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by an amazing crew, exciting family and hilarious friends and clients on a day-to-day basis.

My team and I have the capabilities and know-how to photograph anything from large-scale productions, to hanging off the cliffs of Moab. We travel where the excitement and inspiration takes us. 

In 2017 my husband and I escaped the congestion of Denver by moving 20 minutes northwest to Arvada, Colorado. The change enabled us to enjoy the peaceful nature and outdoor lifestyle we craved by being next to a lake,  surrounded by horse properties and at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. We have both Denver and Boulder within a 20 minute drive so we can get our city fix. We have spent the past few years honing our gardening skills on our property. I'm always greatful in the summer and fall when I can pull items fresh from the garden for use in my food photography. 

After each shoot I get to be home with my incredibly creative husband Roger, our adventurous son Julian, sweet daughter Willow, and our sweet dog Hoagie. We all love building and growing our homestead property and farm-fresh garden.
