This was a recent photo shoot for Udi’s Foods, which is a local Denver food company. They are a family owned company who has their gluten free products all throughout the US. These are for their Denver catering business and new website that will be launching in mid-August. Beth Hawkins did the food styling for the shoot and as always did a phenomenal job. We had 5 days of shooting, but I liked these 3 images in particular for their warmth and overall style.
Even when shooting food, architecture, or product photography I try to give the entire shoot a Lifestyle look and feel. I think it helps the images if they feel like they have a life and a story behind them, even if it’s not people I’m shooting. These images are great examples of that.
Overall this shoot was a lot of fun! We had an amazing team working on the entire shoot and the client couldn’t have been better to work with. It’s always a pleasure to work with such positive, creative people. I’m excited for our next set of shoots with them.

This was for an editorial photography shoot in Boulder Colorado. Bimbamboo is a restaurant that serves wonderful modern Asian dishes. It’s wonderfully priced, and the food is fantastic. It was a fun shoot to take part in.
I photographed a variety of sliders, pho, and a few other dishes not shown here.

Here are some photos from the restaurant Bloom at Flatirons mall just outside of Boulder, Colorado.
I photographed an editorial food review for a magazine here in Colorado and for Fox Restaurant Concepts who is the parent company of Bloom.
I photographed their fried chicken, bars of sin and key lime pie. All of their dishes are wonderful at Bloom. I highly suggest you try them all.

I was asked to photograph a food review at Jax Fish House restaurant in Boulder, Colorado. The chef there, Hosea Rosenberg, won last years Top Chef competition on Bravo TV. This is a huge accomplishment, and we should be proud to have this food expert as a local of Colorado.
So, I photographed a couple of their food dishes along with a portrait of Hosea. Here are the results.
By the way, if you haven’t eaten at Jax, I highly recommend it. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Denver, and they also have this location in Boulder. Fantastic!!
