Back in the studio for some scrumptious food photography. This was to highlight Gluten free hot dog buns in typical household scenarios. As a food photographer you take on a lot of rolls including setting the scene of the environment. Here we tried to accomplish two different scenes, one more rich and warm and the other light and airy.

Here is a shot I recently did for a new line of cookies that Udi’s Gluten Free company is coming out with. Great product, simple shot. We slipped their box in this particular shot to get a little peek of their logo. I believe this is the shot they’ll be using in their advertising. It worked out nicely. We photographed a few other items that I will blog about another day, but I don’t want to show them until their product has been released. For now you’ll have to settle for just the cookies.

This was just a fun shoot I did of a little girl enjoying her cereal in the morning. I was drawn to the old 50′s style setting and colors. I really liked the natural outcome of the images. No fluff, just reality. I was just playing around, but I thought I’d include them here. That’s what a blog is for, right?

I’m so excited about my new print portfolios made by Scott Mullenberg. http://www.mullenbergdesigns.com/
He did an amazing job down to every detail. I had a total of 3 books made, one for each of my website categories. Lifestyle Photography, Commercial Photography and Still Life Photography (featuring food and architecture images). http://www.jessicagrenier.com/
Each is a different color within my brand. Then he foil stamped my logo on the front of each book and I had the front and back pages letterpress printed with my logo/contact info to match the letterpress of the rest of my collateral.
Whenever I make a new print book it’s always a chore, but I really enjoyed creating these. Scott was the easiest guy to work with and was so flexible every time I changed my mind, and trust me there was a multitude of times that I did.
So, now I’m excited to schedule a bunch of new meetings to show off my new books. I already had a few this week and people really loved the books. Thanks again Scott!!
