These are lifestyle photographs of a guy jogging through the city one afternoon. Andy did an amazing job showing a diverse range of emotions throughout the photo shoot while still keeping the mood I originally intended. That’s why we hire actors! These were shot in various locations around Downtown Denver. We wanted him to pop off of an almost gray looking mucky background, and the red shirt worked perfectly. It was just after a rainstorm so the weather worked out well. I set out for the lighting to be soft but bring a little bit of drama. Overall I love the images and it was a pleasure to work with this team.

This is Ken, a physical fitness buff who began a Parkour gym with a few of his friends. If you’re not familiar, Parkour is physical training where you adapt to your environment by jumping, climbing, and essentially flying your body over and around objects. It’s really quite amazing to watch. It’s become a YouTube phenomenon lately and is a great exercise.
So, at their gym, Apex Movement in Denver, Colorado, they focus on training the body to work in all types of ways. They set up obstacles throughout the gym and you figure out your own path to get through them.
As the photographer, I focused on Ken and his lifestyle and attitude towards Parkour. He really enjoys it and definitely seems to push himself physically. Here are a few photos showing Ken using some of the equipment in the gym.

These Advertising photos were all for the “Be Influential” campaign going on with Regis University. Each photograph is a testimonial of that person, what they do and how they are influential in society.
The first person is Ric Murray, the teacher of theater lighting and set building at Red Rocks Community College. The next person, Deneyse works at the Department of Revenue. Steve Cox is the fire chief of all Colorado Springs fire houses. Roosevelt is a teacher at East High School in Denver, and finally Todd Edmands who teaches lego robotics to children. These are just a few of the people who are involved in the campaign. Check it out here… http://cps.regis.edu/beinfluential/ to see more of their stories and other images I shot for the campaign.
We shot most of the images throughout Denver and surrounding towns in Colorado.

I was asked to photograph a food review at Jax Fish House restaurant in Boulder, Colorado. The chef there, Hosea Rosenberg, won last years Top Chef competition on Bravo TV. This is a huge accomplishment, and we should be proud to have this food expert as a local of Colorado.
So, I photographed a couple of their food dishes along with a portrait of Hosea. Here are the results.
By the way, if you haven’t eaten at Jax, I highly recommend it. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Denver, and they also have this location in Boulder. Fantastic!!
