This was part of a recent photo shoot I conducted in Denver, Colorado. It was of a model from Wilhelmina Denver. She’s a lovely young girl with an ethereal feeling to her so we wanted to feature her as she is… Relaxed, in a park, with soft back light an a soft, light mood. I photographed her in many different situations for the website, and even though the client chose the more “smiley” photos I liked these the best. The shot has an editorial feel to it even though it’s geared for advertising, which is why I like the image. It’s very representative of my lifestyle photography. I also decided to use these two images on a recent promo piece I sent out to show my range of shooting children in lifestyle scenarios as well as adults.

There must be something in the air smelling of pizza because Organic Pizza Company has just opened in Denver, Colorado. Their first restaurant opened in the Highlands neighborhood off of 38th and Tennyson near the Sunflower Market. They are selling take-n-bake Organic pizzas featuring local ingredients. Delicious!!
For photography, we had already done a studio food photography session to showcase the pizzas, so this time they wanted to feature the location. They wanted clean, bright feeling images slightly abstract in nature. So, that’s what we worked on.
It was a fun shoot. In the last photo shown I used a slightly longer exposure and a pop of the strobes to get some motion and freeze the subject. Check it out…

So, Udi’s has opened up a pizza parlor in Arvada, Colorado serving up some delicious food. They wanted me to go in and do more of an editorial shoot showcasing their pizzas on location and some of the process of making the pizzas. So, here are just a few of the shots we came up with. There were a ton to choose from for this shoot due to the beautiful location and product but these were some of my favs to tell the story.
They are also coming out with a line of frozen gluten free pizzas and some of these photos will be used for the advertising on the box.

So, we’ve completed this years shots for Regis University’s Be Influential Advertising Campaign. The photography was similar as the shoots a couple of months ago, but with new inspirational people as the subject. Here are a few of the people featured. Dapa works at Laser Tech, Karen works with Habitat for Humanity and Paula works with new teachers in different schools allover Denver.
