Man at night

Comments Off

This was a fun shoot. We took the model out around dusk and did a variety of night shots using only natural elements and light. So I had to get creative with timing head lights to drive by and light up the model at just the right time, and to place him just right where it highlighted him how I wanted. Nothing had to be perfect, it was all about making the errors work for the photo. It was back to old-school photography tricks and really a lot of fun!

Boa Technology photography

Comments Off

This was a photo shoot for Boa. We shot in the Colorado foothills to showcase a variety of shoes using the Boa technology. These are a few outtakes from the shoot that I really like. We got to play around with a variety of creative in camera techniques that gave some cool effects on shot 2. Overall, it was really fun lifestyle oriented photo shoot focusing on an amazing product. It turned out to be a wonderful day with a really energetic group… crazy fun!

The ad agency running the shoot is local Denver agency Cultivator with Rich Rodgers art directing.

Massage Photography

Comments Off

This was a photo shoot for Elements Massage. They wanted to focus on highlighting different aspects of massage they offer while keeping within their branding of light, white and clean photography. It was clean advertising photography and it made me really want a massage… time for some relaxation.

Winter is over???

Comments Off

So I thought winter was over. We had a really early spring come to Denver this year and I was loving it. Due to the low amounts of snow in the mountains this year creating low level snowboarding, I was ready to move on into summer and bring on motocross and wake boarding season. But today, we had one of our gorgeous spring snows with huge wet flakes pouring down all morning. I’m not sure if it’ll be the last of it or not, but it inspired me to put up some of the snow shots I’ve taken this winter. So here are a few pics to tide all of you snow-lovers over until a new winter comes.

Amazing team work on shots this year…
